“I have seen them only at night … watching Spain vs Sweden on TV”

Here we go.
Forget what I told you about Friday beeing an ugly day here in Vitória. This Saturday was even worse. Marvelous Brazil this time has been gray, rainy and rough, since some near-2-meter waves attended the event today. Lucky Magnus Holmberg, that classified to the semis on Friday and had a day off. I have seen them only at night, in the Hotel’s lobby, watching to Spain X Sweden on TV.
Bjorn Hansen wasn’t that lucky and lost 1-3 against Philippe Presti. The Frenchman now will face Holmberg in the semis. The French, Mathieu Richard, defeated Ian Williams 3-2 and now will race against undefeated Paolo Cian. Shosholoza’s skipper at the America’s Cup won against the young australian Tovar Mirsky (who came out of the repechage).
On the last two tricky days, two guys fell overboard during the matches, both have been rescued during the race and are fine now. It seems that the sun will come out this Sunday and you will be able to see happier pics. Meanwhile, check out Saturdays gallery by Bruno Miani and Wander Roberto at
